Wednesday, 10 October 2012One Friday afternoon a few weeks ago Mom dropped me off at Dad's work so we could go to my Grandma and Grandpa's house for a fishing trip. We went to McDonalds on the way there for a special treat. And finally we were there after a long four hour drive. So I got into bed and fell fast asleep. The next morning we got into the boat bright and early and set off. So I cast out and with my first cast I caught a perch.
I was so excited! I caught a fish with my first cast! Anyway so we kept fishing and then Dad caught a baby rock bass. So we went back to the house and we had lunch and then went back out again. So I took a couple casts and then I had a big hit at first I thought I had hooked weeds but then I saw it splash so I reeled in and then I got it in the boat and saw it was a largemouth bass!
So we went back and had supper and then went to bed. The next morning we went out again and we had no luck except a baby perch I caught but it was too little to keep so we put it back. So we went back to clean the fish.

GREAT post Austin! And what a great fisherman you are. You definitely showed Daddy and Grandpa how to fish! And yes, I was very excited to see you when you came home - I missed you!!!
